We’ve long used aluminium tubes to house our hand creams and body balms. But until recently, they were finished with a small plastic cap. Now, they’re not.
We’ve made the quiet shift to 100% aluminium tubes—lid included—and while it may look like a small change, it reflects something much larger.

Designed for the Circular Economy

Aluminium is infinitely recyclable without loss of quality. In fact, nearly 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today. It’s one of the few materials that can be truly closed-loop, making it a cornerstone of sustainable packaging design.

Unlike plastic—which degrades with each cycle—aluminium maintains integrity through endless reuse. Our choice of an aluminium cap ensures the entire tube is mono-material, meaning it can be recycled together, easily and efficiently.

Safer for Skin

Aluminium is inert, non-leaching, and widely used in pharmaceutical and food-grade packaging. It offers superior protection against light and air, keeping natural formulations fresher, longer.

By removing plastic lids and inserts, we also avoid the risk of microplastics or chemical leaching over time—especially for products that stay in contact with the skin.
